Automated Membership in Groups

Groups can be set up in a microsite in such a way that whenever any new user gets created in a microsite as a result of Self Registration, the user automatically becomes a member of these groups. This can be achieved through the following steps.

Step1: Create one or more groups, with access type Open. Note the ids of the group from the browser addressbar (the addressbar would have something like group.do?id=f34e790t-a4ef-11w1-b0d1-0030489d05ee where id is clearly visible)

Step2: In the Site Details->Customization tab, specify the comma separate ids of these groups, e.g.

AUTO_SIGNUP_GROUPS=id1, id2, id3

Step3: Go to Site Details->Security tab, and enable the self signup option
