Import confluence page in a course

Confluence (cloud) pages can be imported as a lesson in a course. If there is any update on the Confluence page, It can be synced using a single click to update lesson content or automatically if auto-sync is enabled.

A single click import and sync provide a mechanism to use confluence pages as a lesson in the course for formal learning and tracking user's progress.

Adding the Confluence page as a lesson

For adding the Confluence page in a lesson, A lesson should be created using the online editor type lesson. Online editor type lesson provides an icon to import confluence page. You just need to provide a Confluence page link that needs to be imported.

Add lesson

The following screenshots show step by step action needed to import a page as a lesson.

Imported content

Once confluence URL is provided, LMS imports that page's content in the lesson. here is the example page created by importing the Confluence page.

Multiple Confluence pages can be arranged as lessons in a course that can be offered for formal training.

Please note: Don't use the link of other pages and macros in the Confluence page that you want to import.

Syncing confluence page content in LMS lesson

If the Confluence page is updated, to apply that change in the imported lesson a single click manual sync option is available.

Syncing lesson content

Online editor toolbar provides an additional 'Sync' option for imported lessons. When a user clicks this icon, a confirmation message appears to proceed with the syncing operation. Once the user clicks 'OK' to proceed, the page is updated with new content.

Automatic Syncing

A lesson property can be enabled for auto-syncing. If this property is enabled then all pages with a similar property enabled are synced automatically with any changes made from the previous sync.  The automatic syncing operation runs periodically.
